Project 'PRECIS – Prevention and empowerment in the CIS’
The project includes altogether five components: advocacy, capacity building of LGBT organisations, empowerment of LGBT communities, HIV/AIDS and STI prevention campaigns and monitoring of the HIV/AIDS situation among LGBT communities in the project countries.
ILGA-Europe is responsible for implementation of the project’s advocacy component. The overall goal of the component is to advocate for inclusive policies on sexual and reproductive health and rights as well as for the enhancement of human rights of LGBT people in general on the national level in the project countries and on the international level.
Partners in the project are LGBT organisations in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Ukraine. The project is co-ordinated by COC Netherlands. The advocacy material produced within the project will also be utilized by other actors than project partners, especially ILGA-Europe members and other LGBT NGOs.
